How does it work?

Once a contract has been signed between buyers and sellers of a real estate property, a lot remains to do before they can all consider the transaction completed. Depending on state and county regulations, up to 100 actions may have to be performed among the different parties (agents, attorneys, inspectors, bank, etc.), following a strict contractually-binding schedule. Realtors and closing coordinators may perform these tasks manually or with the help of Realtorgenix.

  • various spreadsheets stored on different computers,

Frequently asked questions

How do we define a transaction?


A transaction involves a property, a set of sellers, buyers, agents, attorney, etc., whose common goal is to complete the different actions required to finalize the selling/purchase of said property.




What types of information are tracked in Realtorgenix?


Through working with seasoned coordinators, we've determined the set of data that are actually of use to them. The database is hence structured to store relevant information regarding the property, buyers, sellers, attorney, law firm, assistant, inspector, agents, deal and financial clauses, contact information of individuals, etc. None of these are actually required for a transaction but if they may be of use in the process, take advantage of the ease of entering and reusing them!




Which milestones, tasks or documents am I able to manage?


The ones you want! You have complete freedom to define the milestones, tasks and documents that are relevant to your way of working and to organize them in sets of contract options in order to easily apply them depending on the requirements of each specific transaction.




Do the clients/agents and other parties need to use the app as well?


No. This app is just to organize the coordinator's tasks. Other parties don't need to change their habits in any way.




How is Realtorgenix different from a regular task management system?


Realtorgenix is designed to specifically focus on the task of closing coordination. It means that it allows its users to store important information in a way that makes sense to them. Regular task management systems are meant to address the needs of unstructured projects. By opposition, Realtorgenix applies dynamic templates to projects that are to follow a very strict, milestone-dependent process. It allows coordinators to focus on the tasks at-hand rather than on remembering what has to be done and calculating when (e.g., three days before the financial contingency milestone, except if it's on the week-end, then it has to be done on the previous Friday, etc.).




May I use Realtorgenix in other situations than after signing a real estate transaction?


Of course! You can customize Realtorgenix to handle all kinds of projects. It will excel in helping you execute highly systematic processes with strict deadlines (import/export, planning a wedding, etc.). But the objects it natively deals with (properties, attorneys, agents...) are very specialized so the closer to this world, the better!
